Description du poste

We are looking for a passionate and versatile Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for developing QAD’s Process Intelligence web application, working on both the front-end and the backend. As part of the Engineering team based in the US and Europe, this role offers great opportunities to work on various projects and technologies with diverse teams.

The Engineering team is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying the organization's core products, focusing on efficiency and speed. We architect and implement comprehensive solutions, including tools and platforms, to meet key business requirements. These solutions cover areas such as provisioning, configuration, CI/CD, monitoring, SLAs, performance optimization, and system uptime. The team collaborates extensively with stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

This is a hybrid role located in Paris, France, or Barcelona, Spain. The successful candidate should be available to work in the office at least 3 days a week.

What you will do :

• Participate in software architecture and technology decisions.
• Write clean, optimized, and well-documented code.
• Ensure integration and communication between different systems.
• Perform tests and maintain high code quality.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

Education : Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields

Professional experience: 5+ years

Technical skills :

• Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem (Pandas, etc.).
• Experience with Python frameworks (Tornado, Flask).
• Knowledge of relational databases (MongoDB, Vertica, etc.).
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS).
• Skills in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of web security principles.
• Ability to work in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Good collaboration skills across all levels with cross-functional teams, highly developed ownership, and creative thinking.

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Process-oriented with the ability to build effective solutions.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Knowledge of Vertica OPENTEXT (SQL).
• Knowledge of unit and functional testing (Cypress).
• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Experience with trunk-based development and continuous delivery.
• Knowledge of statistical calculations.
