Within the BoT (Bureau of Technology) department, the Platform tribe plays a key role in designing and maintaining core infrastructure components, providing essential tools and services for product development. The Developer Experience (DevXP) team, part of this tribe, focuses on internal developer experience within the platform.

As a Frontend Engineer in the DevXP team, you will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining frontend components that support our technological ecosystem. You will work across our tech stack and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
  1. Participate in designing and developing frontend solutions for the Platform, Chapter, and Squads.
  2. Contribute to the development and roadmap of the internal information portal (DevPortal) for all engineers.
  3. Collaborate with other Platform teams to ensure system integration.
  4. Propose solutions on feature flags, rollout strategies, and A/B testing.
Collaboration
  1. Work with Product, Staff Engineers, ICs, QA teams, and the Frontend Chapter to understand needs and deliver solutions.
  2. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and problem-solving sessions.
  3. Lead frontend training and promote engineering best practices.
  4. Implement inner-sourcing practices for DevPortal contributions.
  5. Facilitate workshops and presentations within the Frontend Chapter.
Maintenance & Improvement
  1. Continuously improve existing tools and functionalities.
  2. Support maintenance and new features for Pastrami and Front-Apps projects.
  3. Maintain internal tools like DevPortal or DSE.
  4. Ensure compliance with company standards and best practices.
  5. Gather feedback and identify future needs through forms.
Performance, Security & Reliability
  1. Diagnose and resolve bugs, performance, and security issues.
  2. Optimize component performance and scalability.
  3. Implement security measures to protect data and users.
  4. Work with Infrastructure teams to build resilient, highly available systems.
Technological Innovation
  1. Explore new technologies and practices to enhance platform capabilities.
  2. Anticipate future technical developments based on the roadmap.
Candidate Profile
  1. Experience in full-stack development with skills in Python, Go, and frontend frameworks (JavaScript, TypeScript, VueJs).
  2. Interest and experience in CI/CD, Release, and DevOps.
  3. Understanding of software architecture, service integration, and best practices.
  4. Experience with APIs, microservices, and UI design.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

  2. Technical screening with two Frontend engineers (45 min).
  3. Feature exercise with two Frontend Engineers (60 min).
  4. Technical leadership interview with two team members (45 min).
  5. Coffee chat with future manager Guillaume (45 min).
  6. Values interview with C-level executives (45 min).
