LumApps is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the AI Agents Platform Team in Île-de-France. You will design and ship scalable frontend and backend systems powering AI‑driven experiences across the platform.

You will mentor engineers, influence architectural decisions, and drive high standards for testing, security, and observability while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver real impact.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and React (v17+).
• Experience with AI-agent interoperable protocols (MCP, A2A, AG-UI, SSE/WebSockets).
• Experience with LLM providers on Vertex AI and agentic frameworks.
• Ability to design end-to-end scalable, secure systems.
• Fluent English and strong technical communication.
• Experience mentoring peers and fostering psychological safety.
• Advocate for security and reliability in service design.

Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

LumApps is an AI‑powered Employee Hub that supports companies in digital transformation of communication, collaboration, and engagement with customers, partners, and employees.

Team

The AI Agents Platform Team at LumApps designs, builds, and evolves systems that power AI‑driven experiences across the platform—from conversational agents and agentic workflows to intelligent content tools and multi‑modal AI interactions.

Scope

• Agent Chat: real‑time streaming chat interfaces powered by the AG-UI protocol and Server‑Sent Events.
• Agent Studio: management layer for creating, discovering, and governing AI agents at scale, with backend and frontend tooling.
• Agent interoperability: connecting our agents to the broader ecosystem through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent‑to‑Agent (A2A) protocols, exposing and consuming tools and remote agents securely at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership and vision across the AI Agents tribe, defining architectural decisions and driving major system designs.
• Mentor engineers, foster growth, delegate responsibilities, and share knowledge through internal presentations.
• Plan and execute cross‑team projects that span multiple teams, translate roadmap goals into concrete technical strategies, and own delivery accountability.
• Lead by example on quality and engineering excellence—testing, performance, observability, and security. Conduct rigorous code reviews and challenge specifications and implementations as needed.
• Champion security and reliability—design for authentication, authorization, tenant isolation; build observable and resilient services.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and React (v17+), with additional experience in backend services a plus.
• Hands‑on experience or strong curiosity in AI‑agent interoperable protocols such as MCP, A2A, AG-UI, and stream-based UI integration (SSE, WebSockets).
• Experience with LLM providers such as Google Gemini and Mistral running on Vertex AI, and agentic frameworks like Google ADK or Strands Agents.
• Demonstrated ability to design systems end‑to‑end, making choices on functional correctness, scalability, and security.
• Proficiency in testing across the stack—backend unit, component, integration testing (pytest, etc.) and frontend tooling (Jest, React Testing Library, Storybook, Playwright).
• Fluent English and strong technical communication skills, able to articulate complex trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring peers and building a culture grounded in psychological safety and technical excellence.
• Advocate for security and reliability—design services with authentication, authorization, and tenant isolation from the outset.
