Senior Frontend Developer

Senior Frontend Developer works in a scrum team that develops the next generation of ecommerce frontend.

The role involves participating in the implementation of technical and process innovations in frontend development, helping to solve emerging challenges and technical problems. The role also includes supporting the skill community by sharing knowledge and experience with other frontend experts.

Main responsibilities:

1. Leading topics related to implementation in the next generation frontend for ecommerce.
2. Providing technical consultation on frontend-related topics.
3. Participating in code reviews to improve team knowledge and suggest improvements.
4. Acting as a mentor and guide on technical issues for junior developers.
5. Investigating latest technologies and building quick proof of concept functionalities to address future business needs.
6. Promoting best-in-class development principles and quality standards, such as Clean Code, BDD/TDD.
7. Contributing to the Development Community of Practice to endorse development principles and best practices.
8. Helping organize complex engineering issues, including technology development methodologies, continuous improvement, and continuous delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

• At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an international and multicultural environment working in classic and virtual teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP) and DevOps practices.
• Results-oriented: Proven track record of delivering on targets.
• Strong fundamentals in software design and development.
• Experience in writing unit tests (e.g., Jest and other testing utilities).
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors and frameworks (preferably SCSS).
• Knowledge of architecture design patterns and software craftsmanship principles (e.g., Clean Code, Clean Architecture).
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and practical experience with Docker containerization.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of UX and design tools like Figma, wireframing tools, and tracking tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) is a plus.
