The HBS Finance Operations team plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of world-class sporting events. As we prepare for upcoming global tournaments, we're expanding our team to strengthen our financial oversight and strategic planning capabilities. The Senior Controller will be instrumental in budget preparation, financial analysis, and business development support, helping us deliver exceptional broadcast experiences while maintaining financial excellence.

Your Responsibilities

Event Budgeting & Financial Management:

• Prepare and check event budgets in liaison with all involved divisions.
• Follow event budgets and monitor performance.
• Interface with other support divisions (Accounting, Controlling, HR, etc.) in the financial delivery of events.

Business Analysis & Development Support:

• Conduct thorough financial analysis, including market trends, investment opportunities, and financial models.
• Analyze, monitor, and compare the operational and commercial performance of HBS projects.
• Assist in creating financial proposals, highlighting financial benefits and ROI for potential clients/projects.

Reporting & Business Intelligence:

• Develop and maintain reports and metrics related to business development activities from a financial perspective.
• Support in preparing project infographics and special reports.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize financial information and trends for decision-making.

Is this role for me?

You're the perfect fit if you have:

• A strong financial background with a degree in Business Economics or Administration.
• 10+ years of experience as a Controller, Financial Analyst, or related role.
• Experience in the Broadcast or Event industry (a significant plus!).
• Exceptional analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
