Job summary

Gartner is seeking an Analyst to provide research and advisory to global clients across the US, EMEA and beyond. The role focuses on transforming financial reporting processes with AI and automation, helping CFOs and controllers improve efficiency and strategic outcomes.

You will meet with clients daily via videoconference or Gartner events, delivering authoritative insights and practical recommendations to drive performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• 8+ years leading accounting teams supporting record to report processes in large multinational organisations with demonstrated experience transforming the financial close/accounting processes.
• Strong knowledge of working with accounting automation vendors and technologies associated with financial accounting processes, including ERPs.
• Ability to conduct occasional travel up to 25%, regionally and globally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for transforming controllership processes (AP, AR, financial close).
• Guide clients on transforming these processes using AI and automation to drive efficiency and CFO outcomes.
• Deliver high-quality advice through face-to-face and video presentations with clients.
• Remain ahead on developments in accounting tech and finance transformation strategies.
