Overview

You join, as a senior lawyer, the Trade Finance team of the Legal Department Financing of Natixis. The team is mainly involved in financing operations (in France and abroad) for the Global Trade business. This includes in particular the following activities / products :

• issuing of guarantees and sureties (bid bond, advance payment bond,...);
• Supply Chain Finance : discount of receivables, Dailly cession, etc;
• Commodities Trade Finance : uncommitted bilateral facility, borrowing base facility, etc.;
• Export finance : export credits covered by an ECA.

Responsibilities

• Advise the business and other stakeholders of the bank in the context of these operations (e.g. : middle office, back office, syndication, risk management, compliance, ...);
• Draft / review and negotiate the legal documentation related to these operations (syndicated loans, discount, bilateral transactional lines, guarantees, etc.);
• Ensure interface and coordination with external advisors;
• Participate in the life of the Trade Finance team (promote the sharing of knowledge and good practices) and contribute to working groups on cross-cutting topics of the Legal Department.

You have a higher education, at least 6 years of experience in structured finance, acquired in an international law firm or in a legal department of a business bank, after a first experience in a firm.

You are proficient in :

• Financing products (L / C, SBLC, sale-discount, bilateral loans, syndicated loans type LMA, etc.);
• Ideally, topics related to international trade and export credit.

You have an excellent relationship, you are :
