Job summary

Redpath Mexicana is seeking a Finance Controller to lead the financial operations for its Mexican entity. The role focuses on implementing finance processes, controls, and reporting aligned with Redpath policies and local requirements.

The successful candidate will oversee budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, statutory reporting, and liaise with external advisors and regulators to ensure compliant financial decision-making across multi-site Mexico operations.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline; professional accounting designation preferred.
• Minimum seven years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including experience supporting operations in Mexico.
• Experience with financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting/forecasting, internal controls and statutory compliance.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion, Hyperion Financial Management, foreign currency transactions, intercompany transactions and multi-country finance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support finance functions for Redpath Mexicana: project accounting, job costing and project-based financial reporting.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, supplier reconciliation and payment support.
• Oversee fixed assets, capitalization, depreciation and asset controls; month-end close and management reporting.
• Coordinate payroll, tax, statutory reporting with external advisors and local advisors.
• Prepare monthly management statements and financial reporting packages for Redpath Mexicana.
• Ensure internal controls across finance, purchasing, billing, collections and cash management.
• Lead process automation and reporting standardization initiatives.
• Provide timely budgets and forecasts with data integrity across Mexico operations.
