Siemens EDA (Siemens Digital Industries Software) is seeking a motivated Field Application Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing technical sales engineering team and drive growth across our Hardware Assisted Verification portfolio. You will mentor Field Application Engineers, guide customer engagements, and influence roadmap decisions while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and R&D.

Up to 50% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proven leadership of technical sales or Field Application Engineer teams.
• Deep expertise in hardware emulation, offload and FPGA prototyping for SoC/ASIC.
• Strong knowledge of DFT methodologies (scan, ATPG, MBIST/LBIST, compression).
• Experience with power-aware verification techniques (UPF/1801).

Responsabilités

• Lead Field Application Engineer team execution across technical sales activities for assigned portfolio and product line.
• Guide evaluations and customer engagements with strong knowledge of emulation, offload and hybrid flows, prototyping, DFT, and power-aware verification methodologies.
• Present technical value and business impact—including ROI, time-to-market, and productivity gains—to customers and executives.
• Define success criteria for technical engagements and ensure competitive differentiation.
• Partner with Sales and Account Directors on opportunity planning and multi-year strategy.
• Identify new business opportunities, customer requirements, and competitive trends; provide feedback to Marketing and R&D to influence roadmap.
• Collaborate with regional teams on cross-portfolio solution strategy.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Field Application Engineer team.
