A leading company in wireless technologies is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide pre-sales and post-sales support. The role involves customer trainings, product presentations, and the development of demo applications for seamless integration of Quectel's products. The ideal candidate should have experience in embedded software design, knowledge of IoT applications, and hands-on familiarity with wireless modules like WIFI and BT, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction through reliable technical support.
1. Provide technical support for Quectel's entire product portfolios, including 5G, LTE / LTE-A, UMTS / HSPA, GSM / GPRS and GNSS wireless technologies.
2. Provide Pre-Sales and Post-Sales technical support and customer trainings on Quectel wireless modules and development tools.
3. Provide quick responses to customer technical enquiries, being prepared to travel for on-site support.
4. Be able to give product presentations and conduct product and tool training for customers on-site.
5. Provide tangible feedback and feasible Quectel solutions to customers, according to their applications.
6. Develop demo applications to help customers evaluate and integrate Quectel modules in an easier and more effective way.
7. Prepare weekly technical reports indicating the support activities and open issues’ progress.
Job requirments :
1.Experience in embedded software design (hardware design experience is good to have). 2.Experience in IoT applications and protocols such as MQTT, CoAP etc.
3.Experience working with cellular modules and wireless modules like WIFI / BT. (hands-on experience)
4.Familiar with USB driver, AT commands, SMS, Voice, TCP / IP processing etc.
5.Experience in developing applications and firmware in C / C++ on Linux and RTOS embedded systems
6.Familiar with 5G, LTE, LPWA technologies. Have experience in usage of diagnostics tools like QXDM
