A leading company in wireless technology is looking for a technical support engineer to enhance customer experience by providing pre-sales and post-sales support. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in embedded systems, IoT applications, and will be responsible for delivering training and technical documentation. This role involves interaction with customers and requires readiness to travel for on-site support.
1. Provide technical support for Quectel's entire product portfolio, including 5G, LTE / LTE-A, UMTS / HSPA, GSM / GPRS, and GNSS wireless technologies.
2. Offer pre-sales and post-sales technical support and conduct customer training on Quectel wireless modules and development tools.
3. Respond promptly to customer technical inquiries and be prepared to travel for on-site support.
4. Deliver product presentations and conduct training sessions on-site for customers.
5. Provide constructive feedback and feasible solutions based on customer applications.
6. Develop demo applications to facilitate customer evaluation and integration of Quectel modules.
7. Prepare weekly technical reports detailing support activities and progress on open issues.
Job requirements:
1. Experience in embedded software design; hardware design experience is a plus.
2. Knowledge of IoT applications and protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, etc.
3. Hands-on experience with cellular and wireless modules like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
4. Familiarity with USB drivers, AT commands, SMS, Voice, TCP/IP processing.
5. Experience developing applications and firmware in C/C++ on Linux and RTOS embedded systems.
6. Familiarity with 5G, LTE, LPWA technologies and diagnostic tools like QXDM.
