Jobtailor is seeking a senior financial professional to lead end-to-end accounting, reporting, and consolidation for multiple European entities. You will ensure IFRS/compliance and coordinate a shared services environment to deliver timely group reports.

Responsibilities include forecasting, variance analysis, KPI tracking, and audits, with a focus on data integrity and internal controls. English fluency is essential; Italian/Spanish are a plus, SAP/NetSuite experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• ACA/CPA qualification preferred for advanced oversight.
• 5–8 years of experience in financial accounting, audit, or controlling.
• Experience across multiple European entities in a multinational environment.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and European GAAP understanding.

Responsabilités

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes across multiple entities.
• Prepare structured financial reports for Group Finance and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure IFRS, local GAAP, and tax compliance; flag issues early.
• Coordinate Shared Service Centre activities (AP, AR, intercompany, reconciliations).
• Deliver forecasting, consolidation, and revenue/margin analyses.
• Track KPIs and develop reporting packs; support audit fieldwork.

Description du poste

• Lead and coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across multiple entities
• Prepare accurate, structured financial reports for Group Finance
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and tax regulations, proactively flagging issues
• Manage day-to-day interaction with the Shared Service Centre covering AP, AR, intercompany, and reconciliations
• Ensure quality, timeliness, and alignment with reporting deadlines
• Maintain strong internal controls and adherence to corporate policies
• Ensure data integrity across systems and entities
• Support and execute forecasting, consolidating inputs across the region
• Deliver revenue, margin, and variance analysis
• Track KPIs and prepare reporting packs for senior stakeholders
• Act as primary operational contact for Sales and Operations teams
• Support the Controller with briefing materials and act as deputy when required
• Coordinate audit fieldwork and act as main operational contact for external auditors
• Manage relationships with local tax advisors, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualification (e.g. ACA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred
• 5–8 years’ experience in financial accounting, audit, or controlling
• Experience working across multiple European entities in a multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and European GAAP frameworks
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end financial processes independently
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with systems such as SAP or NetSuite
• Fluent in English
• Italian or Spanish a plus
