About your responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer - Electrical Network Calculations M/F reporting to the Electricity Network Calculations section, you will participate in international projects across Technip Energies' three product lines: 0-carbon solutions (Hydrogen, wind power, LNG, Sustainable Fuels). You will work in multicultural electrical teams, responsible for designing and sizing electrical networks, performing electrical calculations, and simulations.

Your main tasks include:

• Modelting electrical networks using ETAP/Powerfactory software, performing studies such as load sharing, short-circuiting, motor starting, cable cross-section calculations, harmonics, dynamic stability, flash arc, selectivity, and protection settings.
• Validating HV-HVA-LV protection schemes in collaboration with electrical project managers.
• Coordinating technical aspects with project managers and clients.
• Analyzing Grid Code to conduct HV/HVA connection studies for offshore and onshore wind farms, photovoltaic plants, and H2+BESS production plants.

You will also support functions like:

• Monitoring changes in electrical calculation standards.
• Enhancing technical skills within the department.
• Enjoying a flexible work arrangement with 2 days of teleworking per week.

About your profile:

• Graduated from a leading engineering school, with at least 10 years of experience in electrical network calculations.
• Flexible, rigorous, dynamic, and a team player, comfortable working with diverse cultures and environments.
• Proficient in English, with good reporting skills, and able to travel within France and internationally.
• Comfortable with basic office and IT tools.
