Job summary

SiPearl is seeking a Senior Emulation Engineer to lead and advance our emulation platform efforts. You will drive project execution, supervise workflows, and collaborate with multiple teams across NoC and CPU architecture.

The role places you at the heart of R&D in a fast-growing European fabless company. Based in France with on-site or hybrid work (2 days remote), you will shape emulation strategies, optimize performance, and mentor a dedicated team to deliver high-quality pre-silicon solutions

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of digital ASIC experience.
• At least 7 years of emulation platform experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern CPU architectures.
• Experience with verification tools.
• Experience with embedded C, Python, HDL and Bash.
• Proven leadership and team mentorship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define emulation strategy: capture needs, specify emulator size, and flow for compilation, execution, and debugging.
• Specify RTL changes: document required RTL modifications for emulation and collaterals.
• Collaborate on verification strategy: contribute to pre-silicon verification strategy.
• Develop emulation workflows: supervise and contribute to workflows and integrate hardware/software collaterals.
• Optimize workflows: propose improvements and automate tools/scripts for debugging and user experience.
• Generate emulation models: integrate new EDA features to create models adapted to user needs, debug, optimize speed and size.
• Interface with suppliers: work with tool vendors to address issues and ensure resolution.
• Provide user support: assist users and optimize validation environments.
• Lead collaborative projects: take responsibility for work packages and manage deliverables.
• Lead a highly efficient team: define tasks and mentor teammates.
