Our Client, an aerospace and space technology innovator, seeks a Senior Embedded Electrical Engineer to define and implement embedded control architectures for satellite power systems. Lead design and development of embedded electronics critical to satellite performance and reliability.

Responsibilities include developing software frameworks, algorithms, hardware design, prototypes, and cross-disciplinary collaboration, with an emphasis on robust documentation and real-time control systems.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering, embedded systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience designing embedded control electronics, preferably within aerospace or high-reliability sectors.
  • Proficiency in embedded C or Rust programming environments, tailored for real-time control applications on DSP/MCU platforms.
  • Extensive experience constructing and refining embedded software architectures for multi-subsystem systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of MCU peripherals including ADCs, PWM, timers, and serial protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, UART).
  • Solid understanding of control theory, including model-based design and digital control algorithms.
  • Practical skills in mixed-signal design, signal conditioning, and hardware protections.
  • Fluency in professional English; additional languages are a bonus.
  • Prior experience in aerospace, satellite systems, or high-reliability industries.
  • Knowledge of power management, energy conversion, and battery management systems.
  • Familiarity with RTOS environments and real-time application development.

  • Establish and refine the embedded software frameworks for complex satellite power systems, ensuring seamless interaction among subsystems such as power conversion, energy storage, and telemetry.
  • Develop digital control algorithms, including control loops, signal processing, and MPPT algorithms, on DSP/MCU platforms.
  • Design microcontroller-based electronic hardware, including component selection, schematics, and integration of peripherals such as ADCs, PWM modules, and communication interfaces.
  • Generate and execute prototypes, overseeing hardware bring-up, rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and system validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate embedded software with hardware components, ensuring system robustness and performance compliance.
  • Document system architectures, design choices, and testing procedures clearly and thoroughly, supporting team knowledge sharing and future development.

Role Summary:

Due to continued growth and strategic development, Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Electrical Engineer. This pivotal role involves defining and implementing embedded control architectures for satellite power systems, a key component in enabling next-generation space missions.
