This position is part of the S&E (Structuring & Engineering) department which encompasses the following areas of expertise: project management, contract and purchasing management, supply chain management, construction management, and technical expertise. You will be responsible for two main work streams in the following areas:
- Continuous improvement of our methods: Improve, complete, and deploy processes, tools, models, and training (including interfaces with other business units) based on REX.
- Support projects in their various phases, taking on S&E roles (linked to our areas of expertise) in project teams with a particular focus on the structuring and execution phases.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will join the Electrical Engineering team in charge of grid-related topics.
You will be responsible for:
- Support on grid connection topics to projects worldwide.
- Management of consultants and subcontractors in engineering topics.
- Risk assessment related to grid connection topics for projects in different countries.
- Definition of technical specifications for EPC contracts, purchase of equipment, and engineering services.
- Leading technical discussions with technical advisors, insurers, and EPC contractors.
Qualifications: Must-have
- Minimum 4 years of experience working on electrical infrastructure projects.
- International and multicultural exposure and proficiency in both French and English.
- Skilled in relay coordination study.
- Skilled in Medium & High voltage equipment standards, high voltage substations, grid connection studies, and grid integration.
Nice-to-have
- Proficiency in Spanish as we have many projects in the Latam region.
- Renewable energy experience.
