The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Protection Officer (DPO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal or technical background, extensive operational experience, and a high ethical standard, with the ability to work carefully and result-oriented.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Senior DPO, you will oversee data protection and privacy compliance across our organization in France. You will collaborate with various departments and the global DPO network, reporting to the Group Data Protection Officer and Global Head of Data Protection.

  • Coordinate with the Group DPO and business units to ensure compliance of products, services, and processing activities within France.
  • Oversee data protection practices across all business lines in France.
  • Implement policies and procedures in line with regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and privacy impact assessments.
  • Maintain records, handle data subject requests, and manage data breaches.
  • Provide guidance on data protection and privacy issues.
  • Engage with regulatory authorities and handle inquiries.
  • Manage complex data protection projects at national and international levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance.
Who Are We Looking For
  • Master's degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Certified Data Protection Officer (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, etc.) preferred.
  • At least 7 years of operational experience in data protection and privacy management.
  • Proven experience managing complex privacy projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of GDPR and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in multinational organizations.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong analytical skills and advocacy abilities.
