The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Protection Officer (DPO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal or technical background, extensive operational experience, and a high standard of ethics.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Senior DPO, you will oversee data protection and privacy compliance across our organization in France. You will collaborate closely with various departments and the global Data Protection Officer team, reporting to the Group DPO and Global Head of Data Protection.

  • Ensure compliance of products, services, and processing activities with privacy requirements within France.
  • Oversee data protection practices across all business lines.
  • Implement policies and procedures in line with regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and privacy impact assessments.
  • Maintain records, respond to data subject requests, and manage data breaches.
  • Provide guidance on data protection and liaise with regulatory authorities.
  • Manage complex data protection projects at national and international levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance.
Who Are We Looking For
  • Master's degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Certifications like CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT preferred.
  • 7+ years of operational experience in data protection and privacy management.
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR and other regulations.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in multinational organizations.
  • Fluent in English.
