Job summary

Datadog is seeking a distributed systems engineer to help design and build core services for a cutting-edge profiling product. You will join a team that processes, indexes and analyzes profiling data at scale and collaborates with runtime engineers, data scientists, and designers.

You’ll work across the stack, from development to production, focusing on high-performance systems and meaningful UX through multiple channels including UI, agent tooling, and partner integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java and/or Go essential.
• Distributed systems engineering experience and building high-performance, large-scale systems.
• Excellent communication skills (English).

Responsibilities

• Help design, build and contribute to core services for the profiling product at scale.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary squads and iterate with customers to deliver impactful experiences.
• Take ownership of code from development to production and meet SLOs and quality gates.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to consume profiling data through UI, tools, integrations and partner products.
