Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB is partnered with a leading independent power producer to identify a Director of Structured Finance for a growing solar portfolio in NYC. The role combines hands-on financial modeling with closing complex debt financings, including tax equity and construction facilities.

You will negotiate terms, evaluate lender and investor models, and coordinate with Development, Legal, Asset Management, and Corporate Finance teams to drive transactions to financial close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 5+ years in project finance with closes on construction loans, tax equity, or permanent debt.
• Expert financial modeling skills and ability to audit lender/investor models.
• Knowledge of solar project finance structures and tax equity eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed project-level financial models for construction, tax equity, and debt transactions.
• Review and challenge lender and investor financial models against underwriting assumptions.
• Perform sensitivity analyses to assess financing risks and optimize debt sizing.
• Lead construction loan, tax equity, and permanent debt financings from term sheet to close.
• Coordinate due diligence across legal, technical, and financial teams.
