Scope Ratings is seeking an Executive Analyst to join the Financial Institutions team in Europe. The role involves owning analytical responsibility for a portfolio of banks and NBFIs, chairing rating committees, liaising with issuers and market participants, and publishing forward-looking research.

You will interact with bank executives, regulators and investors, and contribute to new methodologies while supporting team leadership and cross-border collaboration. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in financial institutions such as a rating agency, investment bank, consultancy or asset manager.
• Master's degree in finance, banking, economics, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of European bank regulations and banking trends.
• Excellent numerical skills and familiarity with financial ratios for banks.
• Proficient written and oral English communication.

Responsabilités

• Carry analytical responsibility for a portfolio of banks and NBFIs across several European countries.
• Lead rating committee discussions and communicate rating recommendations.
• Monitor ratings and coordinate timely reviews and changes.
• Serve as main contact between Scope and clients.
• Chair meetings with bank representatives, including senior management.
• Develop and publish high-quality research and comments on credit topics.
• Represent Scope to investors and market participants with professionalism.
• Contribute to development of Scope’s analytical tools and methodologies.
