Scope Ratings GmbH is seeking a dynamic Project Finance Analyst to join our EU Project Finance & Infrastructure Credit Rating team in Paris, France. You will lead credit analysis for infrastructure and project finance deals, evaluating both equity and debt aspects and occasionally visiting project sites to gather insights.

The role requires strong finance education, 4 years in a relevant setting, and fluency in English with German and/or French preferred.

Qualifications

4 years of experience in a large rating agency, a bank, a structuring advisory or an investment fund with a focus on project finance.
Strong education in finance.
Fluency in at least a major European language (German and/or French preferred) in addition to English.

Responsabilités

Acts as lead credit analyst in infrastructure and project finance transactions, with focus on capital market vehicles.
Performs analysis at both the equity and the debt level.
Modifies and runs cash-flow models to incorporate rating stresses and obtain loss estimates under different outcomes.
Produces opinionated rating reports and sector research reflecting credit risk insights in infrastructure and project finance.
Participates in rating committees as lead analyst or independent member.
