The Context : Expanding Horizons in France

vialytics, a trailblazer in the French market since 2021, is poised for exponential growth across France’s 36,000 municipalities. Our agile team of 13 is expanding, and we’re on the hunt for a Sales Development Representative in Nice.

Under the leadership of Francesco, our Sales Director, and in collaboration with your fellow SDRs and our Sales Managers, you’ll be instrumental in driving growth through the creation and identification of business opportunities.

As a Sales Development Representative at vialytics, you’ll be the driving force behind our client acquisition strategy. You’ll play a pivotal role in the initial stages of the sales cycle, setting the stage for success with your strategic insights and proactive outreach.

Your Mission

On a given day, as a Sales Development Representative, you will:

  • Master the vialytics Solution: Stay ahead of the curve by deepening your product expertise and adapting to its continuous evolution.
  • Engage, Connect & Impress: Schedule meetings for our Sales Executives with targeted prospects—mayors, building authorities, smart city experts, road managers—using chosen channels: cold calls, email blasts, or social media.
  • Discover, Qualify & Accelerate: Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects' needs, hand off qualified opportunities to Sales Executives, and enhance pipeline health to set the stage for faster, more successful deals.
  • Keep our CRM (Salesforce) flawlessly up-to-date: Ensure our Sales and Go-to-Market Teams have the latest contact details, interaction histories, and deal statuses for targeted engagement with prospects and customers.
  • Research, Improve & Share: Identify target customers, continually refine the sales process, and share best practices with the team.

We’d be a perfect match if you:

  • Sales Experience: Exhibit passion and proficiency in sales, particularly in SDR and prospecting roles, with a focus on practical experience such as street-level sales and entrepreneurship projects, rather than formal sales education.
  • Confident Communicator: Boast excellent listening and communication skills in French (C2 / Native) and English (at least B2). You should be comfortable engaging with prospects of all seniority levels and diverse backgrounds.
  • Goal-Oriented: Excel in prioritization and accountability, setting and meeting targets methodically.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Have the drive to go the extra mile, with an ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Tech Enthusiast: Are genuinely interested in the SaaS / Tech / Startup ecosystems and eager to learn about Smart Cities.
  • Cultural Navigator: Thrive in multicultural and collaborative environments with assertiveness.

Our Recruitment Journey:

  • Kickoff Chat: Start with a friendly phone call with Andrès, our HR Manager, to explore practical aspects and get a feel for our culture and the opportunity.
  • Deep Dive with Andrès (60 mins): A video call to delve deeper into company values, culture fit, and any lingering questions you may have.
  • Showcase Your Skills (45 mins): Meet Francesco, our France Sales Director, and Roxane, Senior Sales Manager for a role-play session where you can shine by demonstrating your sales prowess with the vialytics solution.
  • Leadership Chat (15 mins): A conversation with Andy, our Chief Revenue Officer, and Birgit, VP Sales and Customer Success, conducted in English or German.
  • Team Meet: A chance to meet the team either virtually or in person, based on availability.

We aim to make this process smooth and swift, typically taking 2 to 3 weeks, and we’re excited to extend an offer quickly.
