CEVA is seeking a Senior Digital Design Engineer to join the Bluetooth IP team. You will own macro/sub-system architecture and verify advanced Bluetooth/IEEE 802.15.4 MAC, PHY and platform solutions.

You will implement the digital design on FPGA and collaborate with cross‑functional teams across system architecture, HW, firmware, software and validation.

Qualifications

• 12+ years hands-on digital design experience, with at least 5 years in architecture.
• Deep understanding of the digital design lifecycle and SoC HW subsystems.
• Fluent English, strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of macro/sub-system architecture, design and verification for Bluetooth/15.4 MAC, PHY and platform solutions.
• Implement the digital design on FPGA along the existing FW and RF platform for prototyping.
• Support the Validation teams during product certification and assist customers as needed.
• Plan, track and provide visibility to work progress.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to the team.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Digital Design Engineer to join our Bluetooth IP team. In this role, you will be part of the team ensuring reliability requirements are met to deliver advanced wireless technologies.

This position requires a deep understanding of the digital design lifecycle, a high degree of autonomy, and strong collaboration skills. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams including system architecture, algorithms, hardware, software, validation, and customer support, to drive excellence throughout the product development process.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the macro/sub‑system architecture, design and verification for advanced Bluetooth/15.4 MAC, PHY and platform solutions.
• Implement the digital design on FPGA along the existing FW and RF platform for prototyping.
• Support the Validation teams during the certification of the product and the application team on request (Customer Support).
• Plan, Track and give visibility to your work progress.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Provide documentation, including macro-/sub‑system architecture, interfaces and HW sub‑system level testing.
• Drive continuous improvements by contributing to the evolution of the work environment (process/methodology, technology/tools).
• A highly skilled group developing state‑of‑the‑art Bluetooth solutions that power next‑generation connectivity platforms. You will play a key role in designing and implementing robust system solutions, ensuring that performance.

Requirements

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in computer sciences, electronic, embedded systems or similar field.
• 12+ years proven experience in hands‑on digital design including 5 years in architecture.
• Profound understanding of SoC and HW sub‑systems architecture.
• Strong expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog coding.
• Mastering of the full design flow (Micro‑arch, RTL, testbench, code coverage, synthesis, verification, co‑simulation).
• Experienced in FPGA implementation.
• Effective communication skills and a strong ability to collaborate with others and work autonomously in your field.
• Self‑motivated, self‑directed and proactive.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills and capable of working in autonomy.
• Project planning and progress tracking skills.
• Fluent English - Verbal and Writing.
