Job summary

Ceva is seeking a Senior Digital Design Engineer to join the Bluetooth IP team. You will own macro/sub-system architecture and verification for advanced Bluetooth/802.15.4 platforms and work across FW/RF for prototyping.

The role requires 12+ years in digital design, FPGA experience, strong SoC knowledge, and excellent collaboration. You will mentor teammates and help drive ongoing process improvements while delivering robust wireless solutions.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in hands-on digital design including 5 years in architecture.
• Strong SoC and HW sub-systems architecture knowledge.
• Full design flow: Micro-arch, RTL, testbench, synthesis, verification.
• Experience in FPGA implementation.
• Excellent communication and autonomous work style.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own macro/sub-system architecture, design and verification for Bluetooth 15.4 MAC, PHY and platform.
• Implement digital design on FPGA along the existing FW/RF platform for prototyping.
• Support Validation during certification and assist application team.
• Plan, track and provide visibility to progress.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Provide documentation of architecture and interfaces.
• Drive improvements to processes, tools and methods.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust system solutions.

This position requires a deep understanding of the digital design lifecycle, a high degree of autonomy, and strong collaboration skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams includingsystemarchitecture, algorithms, hardware, software, validation, and customer support, to drive excellence throughout the product development process.

Responsibilities:

Take full ownership of themacro/sub-systemarchitecture,designand verification foradvancedBluetooth/15.4MAC, PHY and platformsolutions.

Implementthe digital design on FPGA along theexistingFW andRF platform for prototyping.

Support the Validation teams during the certification of the productand the application team on request (Customer Support).

Requirements

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in computer sciences, electronic, embeddedsystemsor similar field.
• 12+yearsprovenexperience in hands-on digitaldesignincluding 5 yearsinarchitecture.
• Profoundunderstanding ofSoC and HW sub-systemsarchitecture.
• Mastering of the fulldesign flow (Micro-arch, RTL, testbench, code coverage, synthesis, verification,co-simulation).
• ExperiencedinFPGA implementation.
• Effective communication skills and a strong ability to collaborate with others and work autonomously in your field.
• Self-motivated, self-directedand proactive.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and capable of working in autonomy.
• Project planning and progress tracking skills.
• Fluent English - Verbal and Writing.
