Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in ensuring our infrastructure stability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on AWS.
2. Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS) for scalability and performance.
3. Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
4. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and Bash scripts.
5. Enhance system serviceability and monitoring using Loki, Grafana, and Elasticsearch.
6. Manage and maintain databases including Redis, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and networking issues on Linux systems.
8. Collaborate with development teams to integrate best DevOps practices.
9. Participate in a shift-based on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 application availability and prompt issue resolution.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

1. At least 5 years of experience building and maintaining web applications in a DevOps capacity.
2. Ability to work in the EST timezone to address operational issues effectively.
3. Proficiency in AWS services and cloud architecture.
4. Strong knowledge of networking concepts and configurations.
5. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), container orchestration, and Karpenter.
6. Expertise in CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
7. Advanced knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
8. Solid scripting skills in Bash. Deep understanding of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
9. Experience with observability tools: Loki, Grafana, and Elasticsearch.
10. Knowledge of database systems: Redis, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
