Qualifications

You have the opportunity to join our Tech teams and contribute to an exciting moment in the development of our first Opus, a cross-platform large-scale multiplayer game based on a vibrant universe where music is the magic of the world.

We are looking for a senior development tester with strong automation skills to join our team working on our Unreal Engine multiplayer game .

Your role as sr devetester is critical in ensuring the stability, performance, and quality of our game through the development and maintenance of robust automated test systems and active collaboration with developers, designers, and QA.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Unreal Engine-based games (C++, Blueprints, Python).
• Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Author and execute test plans and test cases for complex multiplayer features and game systems.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and soak testing using automated and manual methods.
• Proactively identify bugs, performance issues, and other gameplay anomalies.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (engineering, design, QA) to support quality goals from development to release.
• Share best practices in test automation and QA processes.
• Champion QA automation initiatives to reduce manual test cycles and improve efficiency.
• Contribute to tool development and infrastructure to improve testing workflows.

Experience and Skills

• 4+ years in QA or development testing, with 2+ years focused on automation.
• Proven experience with Unreal Engine (especially UE5), including automation frameworks.
• Strong coding skills in C++ and / or Python (Blueprint knowledge a plus).
• Deep understanding of multiplayer networking concepts and testing complexities in online games.
• Experience integrating automated testing in CI / CD environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with QA tools such as Unreal Automation Tool (UAT), Gauntlet, or Functional Testing Framework.
• Exposure to performance profiling tools (e.g., Unreal Insights, RenderDoc). Previous experience in a live service or GaaS (Games as a Service) environment.
