Job summary

Prelude is redefining how companies authenticate and onboard users, building a trusted, scalable platform for developer onboarding. We seek a senior support engineer to own the function as we grow, collaborating with Engineering and Sales to ensure smooth integrations and production readiness.

You’ll onboard new customers, triage complex issues, analyze API logs, and contribute to runbooks and process improvements. Excellent written English and technical calm under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

6+ years supporting developers at a B2B SaaS company
Strong coding background in Python/JS/Go and ability to follow a stack trace
Experience shipping AI-driven workflows or triage layers
Proven track record shaping runbooks/on-call rotations and incident response
Excellent written English; ability to communicate with engineers
Comfortable working with DevRel/Support across multiple teams

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical support for developers using our SDKs and APIs
Onboard new customers, guiding them through integration and production onboarding
Monitor key accounts to improve usage and detect anomalies
Understand clients’ business context to tailor support signals to Product
Reproduce customer issues with code samples and exact requests/responses
Develop and refine runbooks, escalation paths, and status communications
Introduce AI-driven workflows to improve triage, logging, and response times
Remain calm and effective in production incidents and post-incident reviews
