Qualifications

• 3+ ans d'expérience en Data Science avec déploiement de systèmes ML en production.
• Expérience antérieure en optimisation de la collecte de créances.

Context

As a Senior Data Scientist in Debt Collection, reporting to the Lead Data Scientist, you will optimize recovery journeys using data-driven strategies, leverage AI to enhance client communications, design impact measurement frameworks, collaborate with business teams, and proactively drive innovation.

Your responsibilities:

Overall, your main mission will be to optimize the debt collection process, considering both financial performance and customer protection. To achieve this, you will:

• Conduct advanced customer segmentation and leverage Machine Learning models to define and optimize contact strategies, improving collection effectiveness.
• Explore and leverage generative models (LLMs) to create personalized communication content tailored to different debt collection scenarios.
• Measure and analyze the impact of strategies and models on KPIs of debt collection and customer satisfaction.
• Propose and implement continuous improvements to the debt collection process based on data analysis and new technological opportunities.

Data Scientists also act as project managers, collaborating with:

• Debt collection business teams to understand needs, translate problems into data solutions, and ensure adoption with product managers.
• Data and ML engineers for deployment of models.
• Model risk management team for review & validation.

About your profile:

We seek an experienced, motivated Data Science expert with:

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• 3+ years in Data Science with proven deployment of production ML systems.
• Previous experience in debt collection optimization.

Your skills:

• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong statistical analysis skills.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
• Expertise in data cleaning and preprocessing.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries.
• Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills.
• Good time management and result-oriented approach.
