One of our clients is currently looking for a Senior Data Scientist – Embedded AI & Robotics in 445 L’Occitane, 31670 LABEGE.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead the design and deployment of embedded AI models that power intelligent, real-time movement in robotics. Your mission is to transform high-frequency sensor data into adaptive decision-making algorithms that respond to user gait and behaviors. Working at the intersection of data science, robotics, and biomechanics, you’ll collaborate with engineers, clinicians, and researchers to build technology that enhances mobility and autonomy. If you thrive in an applied, cross-disciplinary environment and enjoy pushing the limits of embedded AI, this role is for you.

Accountabilities:

  • Design and train machine learning and deep learning models focused on time-series classification, prediction, and control.
  • Analyze sensor data from IMUs, encoders, and pressure systems to build adaptive algorithms.
  • Collaborate with embedded engineers to optimize and deploy real-time AI models on-device.
  • Develop and maintain machine learning pipelines, integrating cloud tools for experimentation and monitoring.
  • Conduct user testing and clinical validations, iterating on models based on performance and edge-case feedback.
  • Contribute to scientific research, publish findings, and support innovation through patents.
  • Stay ahead of the curve with active research on reinforcement learning and robotic AI systems.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Science, ML Engineering, or Robotics AI.
  • Proficiency in Python and C++, with strong knowledge of TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.
  • Experience with embedded AI deployment, particularly using X-Cube-AI, CubeMX, and CubeIDE environments.
  • Strong background in signal processing, time-series modeling, and sensor data analytics.
  • Familiarity with ML Ops, cloud-based experimentation tools, and SQL.
  • Comfortable with MatLab or Simulink for algorithm development.
  • Solid understanding of reinforcement learning and real-time control systems.
  • Fluent in English (B2+ level); strong communication and project management skills.
  • Competitive salary range: €45,000 – €60,000
