Senior Data Scientist – Nutrition-related diseases and Lifestyle Medicine

Location : Paris, France

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Data Scientist with expertise in epidemiology, statistics, and machine learning with a focus on nutrition and lifestyle-related diseases. You’ll be responsible for developing methodology and analyzing large datasets, driving R&D results, and adapting these results for user-facing solutions.

Responsibilities of the position

• Using state of the art data science, statistical, and machine-learning approaches Analyzing nutrition, lifestyle, and clinical data to uncover risk factors and patterns for health-related outcomes in real-life and clinical trials and large-scale cohorts
• Working with external collaborators on analyses and extracting insights from datasets
• Developing data pipelines for reproducibility and traceable data treatment and analyses
• Communicating insights to multidisciplinary teams

Your background

• PhD or equivalent experience in Health, Epidemiology, Mathematics, or Informatics-related research with hands-on experience healthcare and nutrition-related disease datasets
• General knowledge of human nutrition science and health
• Strong mathematical and informatics skills, including expertise with R and ideally python
• Good coding practices and maintaining documented and reproducible code is incredibly important
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings and data
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple analytical projects simultaneously.
