Job summary

Ubisoft Entertainment Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Protection Specialist in Data Governance to lead data protection initiatives across the company. You will coordinate with business and production data teams to implement regulatory compliance, security, and access management measures, driving data protection by default.

You will mentor and grow the data protection culture, coordinating with Ubisoft technology teams to adopt the right tools and platforms, and reporting progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience as a data protection expert or technical project manager preferred.
• Ability to lead, coordinate and deliver cross-functional programs across business and technology teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Protection initiatives and related work streams.
• Assess needs of business and technology teams for regulatory compliance and security aspects.
• Coordinate actions with data owners to apply protection measures across assets.
• Promote protection principles and default data protection practices across Ubisoft.
• Collaborate with technology teams to select tools and platforms supporting data protection.
• Grow data teams' skills and awareness through coaching and events.
• Track progress and continuously improve the data protection framework.
• Stay updated on data industry trends and share insights with the data department.
