Job summary

Swile is hiring a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join the Data Platform team. You will help build the foundations that empower engineering teams to own their data autonomously, working at the crossroads of data, software engineering and infrastructure.

Responsibilities include designing tooling, shipping AI capabilities, and contributing to batch processing and event-driven architectures across France and Brazil. A strong software culture and curiosity about AI are valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in data/platform engineering.
• Strong software engineering culture and practices.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve tools and platforms enabling engineering teams to manage data pipelines.
• Ship AI tooling to assist teams in building data products.
• Contribute to batch processing (Airflow, dbt) and event-driven architecture (Kafka).
• Define, document and promote standards and best practices.
