Job summary

Swile is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join the Data Platform team. You will design and improve the tools and platforms that empower engineering teams to build and run their own data pipelines and ship AI tooling as part of the platform.

You will contribute to batch processing with Airflow and dbt, and event-driven architecture with Kafka, while defining standards and best practices across teams in France and Brazil. Fluency in English is required for daily collaboration.

• Proven experience in data or platform engineering.
• Strong software engineering culture.
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate clearly.
• Willingness to learn new tools including AI.
• Fluent English for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve tools and platforms enabling engineers to own data pipelines.
• Ship AI tooling (Skills, MCP) as part of the platform.
• Contribute to batch processing (Airflow, dbt) and event-driven architecture (Kafka).
• Define, document and promote standards and best practices.
• Help teams adopt our tools and grow their skills.
• Evangelize the platform vision across teams in France and Brazil.
