Implicity is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Platform — Ingestion squad. You will design, build and operate ingestion pipelines feeding our health data platform used by 250+ hospitals and 100,000+ patients.

You'll work in a regulated HealthTech environment with emphasis on reliability, traceability and auditability, using AWS, Temporal and modern ELT/ETL tooling. Role reports to Damien Parent and collaborates with Analytics, Product and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent.
• 6+ years designing and operating data pipelines in production.
• Hands-on experience with both streaming and batch ingestion from heterogeneous sources and APIs.
• Experience with workflow orchestrators (Dagster, Temporal, Airflow, Prefect).
• Strong SQL and NoSQL databases knowledge.
• Backend skills in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Java, Go or Scala.
• Production experience on AWS with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Ability to design pipelines with traceability and audit trails.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and operate ingestion pipelines in streaming and batch modes from heterogeneous sources.
• Design, implement and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Own workflow orchestration with DAG design, retry, replay and backfill strategies.
• Design and optimize data models and warehousing (PostgreSQL, AWS Athena).
• Ensure data quality, integrity and traceability across pipelines.
• Deploy, monitor and operate the pipelines, including alerting and on-call rotation.
• Contribute to technical decisions and document trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Product and Engineering teams to enable self-serve data-driven decisions.
