The ‘Data’ function within Volvo Digital & IT aims to unlock the power of data across the Volvo Group, making it a fully data-driven company. We manage data quality, documentation, availability, and consumption through BI, Analytics, and Machine Learning. Our ambitious transformation includes implementing the Data Layer in Azure and strengthening Data Governance and Data Management across the Group.

The ‘Data’ function is a large, multicultural organization with over 600 employees and contractors across Sweden, Poland, India, Belgium, Brazil, USA, and France.

This is a flexible position. As a Data Manager for Data Quality, you will join us in Gothenburg (Sweden), Lyon (France), Bangalore (India), or Wroclaw (Poland). Please mention your preferred location when applying.

The Data Quality Stable Team

This team is part of Data Governance & Data Management. Our responsibilities include:

• Providing capabilities and support to enable stakeholders to monitor and improve data quality.
• Offering tools, training, and standards in Data Quality.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops with business analysts to understand their data needs.
• Profile data, build Data Quality metrics, and develop dashboards.
• Access, manipulate, and analyze data using tools like IDMC, Databricks, SQL.
• Design and implement Data Quality pipelines with IDMC modules.
• Validate Data Quality pipelines and ensure standards compliance.
• Test and document Data Quality processes.
• Define data quality requirements with stakeholders and establish metrics.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Data Quality pipelines.
• Implement data cleansing, enrichment, and transformation techniques.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train team members and stakeholders on Data Quality tools.

Who are you?

We seek candidates with:

• A university degree and passion for data.
• At least 3 years of experience with Informatica IDMC Data Profiling, Data Quality, and Data Integration modules.
• 4-5 years of experience in Data Quality projects.
• Experience with ETL solutions and QA methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of MS Azure.
• Understanding of Data Governance & Management principles.
• Experience working in agile, DevOps environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to link business needs with technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in English. Nice to have: Power BI experience.
