Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Architecturer et mettre en œuvre une plateforme Data Lakehouse dans un environnement cloud AWS.
• Construire et maintenir des pipelines de données à haut débit.
• Collaborer avec des chercheurs et des traders pour développer des solutions de données sur mesure.

Description du poste

Renowned for their high technical standards and exceptional talent, this world-leading, systematic trading firm is embarking on a greenfield Data Lakehouse build to support data needs across several trading desks. This role offers the chance to work alongside a high-calibre team in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Main responsibilities :

• Architect and implement a Data Lakehouse platform, driving end-to-end development in a cloud-native AWS environment.
• Build and maintain high-throughput data pipelines using Python and modern cloud data tools.
• Design and optimize data models for both Data Lake storage and OLAP systems, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with researchers and traders to deliver bespoke data solutions and continuously enhance / scale the platform.

The ideal candidate will have :

• BSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science or other related STEM field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python and SQL, ideally in a financial setting. C++ knowledge is a bonus.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
