Global Certification & Verification Group is seeking a Commissioning Manager to oversee the design, installation and commissioning of critical systems within data centre environments. You will lead project teams, supervise sub-contractors, and coordinate on- and off-site activities to ensure safety, timeliness and quality.

The role requires strong leadership, organisation and communication skills, with responsibilities spanning design through to handover and stakeholder reporting.

Qualifications

• Essential trade/apprenticeship qualification and related certificates.
• Construction safety certifications (CSCS/Safe Pass/ECS/SMSTS) required.
• Engineering qualification (HNC) in electrical, mechanical or building services.
• Engineering degree (BEng Hons) or equivalent desirable.
• Prince2 project management certification desirable.

Responsabilités

• Oversee design, installation and commissioning of critical systems in data centres.
• Lead Level 2–5 commissioning activities and workshops with teams and sub-contractors.
• Attend tests on factory and site, produce reports and ensure compliance.
• Draft and manage commissioning plans, scripts, checklists and trackers.
• Proactively manage weekly commissioning meetings and handover activities.
