Global Certification & Verification Group is seeking a Commissioning Manager to oversee the design, installation and commissioning of critical data centre systems and IT infrastructure. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate on-site and off-site activities, and drive testing and handover processes to ensure project success.

The role requires strong leadership and organisational skills, with experience in commissioning phases, safety compliance, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Completion of trade apprenticeship or qualifications – Essential
• CSCS / Safe Pass / ECS / SMSTS holder – Essential
• HNC – Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services - Essential
• BEng (Hons) in an engineering discipline or equivalent – Desirable
• Prince 2 or equivalent – Desirable

Responsabilités

• Overseeing safe, timely, and efficient design, installation, and commissioning of critical systems in data centres.
• Leading commissioning workshops and coordination with project teams and sub-contractors.
• Developing commissioning plans, test scripts, and reports across design, construction, acceptance, and handover phases.
