The Data and Analytics practice, part of the Technology Office, consists of experts in data strategy, governance, and platforms, shaping the future of data solutions for clients. We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to design and oversee the implementation of our Databricks-based data and AI platforms. This role involves collaborating with data engineers and scientists, defining architecture standards, and ensuring alignment across business units, particularly within the automotive claims management domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable data architectures using Databricks and cloud technologies (Azure/AWS).
• Oversee and guide the implementation of Databricks platforms across business units.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to define standards and practices.
• Develop and enforce data governance strategies to ensure quality, consistency, and security.
• Lead decisions on data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics frameworks.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools to enhance data processing capabilities.
• Mentor engineering teams, ensuring architectural compliance and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain detailed architectural documentation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution/Data Architect in complex enterprise environments.
• Expertise in designing and implementing Databricks platforms.
• Strong experience with cloud architecture (Azure/AWS).
• Proficiency in Apache Spark and big data technologies.
• Understanding of data modeling, integration patterns, and governance.
• Background in relational databases (MS SQL preferred) and SQL.
• Knowledge of data orchestration and CI/CD practices (Terraform, GitLab).
• Ability to communicate complex strategies to diverse stakeholders.
• Leadership and mentorship skills.
• Fluent English (B2 or higher).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in an international team setting.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Elasticsearch or vector databases.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with dbt (data build tool).
• Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for workshops and team alignment.
