Context:

Hi !

I am Sarah, the Head of Data Analytics at Aramis Group.

At Aramis Group, data plays a central role in the company's decision-making and growth. Working closely with all countries in the group, our Data team develops end-to-end data products that contribute to accelerating flows (pricing, repricing, logistics) and optimizing customer journeys (acquisition, personalisation, transformation, ...).

Joining our Data team means becoming part of a friendly and dynamic multi-profile team consisting of data analysts, data scientists, data engineers, and data product managers. We have more than 20 team-players located in Paris, Madrid, Milan and Antwerp.

As part of our growth, I am currently seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. Our department was established 3 years ago with the goal of supporting the Group and its countries in decision-making and empowering them to optimize their performance. To achieve this objective, we have several missions:

- Decision support: We closely collaborate with the business teams to understand their needs and transform them into valuable data products (complex analysis, dashboard, self-analytics, scoring...) which ultimately accelerate their decision-making process.

- Data flow: With autonomy over our data platform, we have complete control of our data flow, from collecting data from external data sources to deploying data products in production and monitoring their performance. By working closely with the business teams, we transform business knowledge into data models that will be used by the whole team in our data products.

To fulfill these missions, we have deployed a Group Data Platform using technologies from the Modern Data Stack (AWS, Airbyte, dbt, Snowflake...), paving the way for a scalable solution that can be used by all countries within the Group.

Your mission:

Working closely with the website team and the corporate support team to help them detect shift of performance and provide them with greater autonomy, you will:

- Build and manage the data flow starting from data collection to product deployment, including development of resilient data models by leveraging a deep understanding of business knowledge

- Design and implement data analytics products, conduct complex analyses, and support the implementation of AB testing to help product teams in continuous improvement of the website.

- Support the team in improving their performance by creating visualizations that accelerate decision-making and optimize performance.

- Give them greater autonomy by facilitating access to data and their understanding thanks to self-analytics

- Help with the development and deployment of Data Products in other countries (6 month +)

The stack:

Programming languages: SQL

Database and data integration: Snowflake, dbt, Airbyte

You are the ideal candidate if:

- You hold a Master’s degree in mathematics/statistics, informatics or computer science with a specialization in data

- You have at least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer

- You are proficient in SQL and possess data modeling skills. Having experience with dbt is a plus

- You enjoy creating compelling and narrative data visualizations as well as analyses, working hand in hand with end users, putting their needs at the center of your data product conception.

- You have knowledge in statistical principles

- You are problem-solving oriented, enjoy continuous learning and embrace change

- You are fluent in English and French, it’s a plus if you speak Spanish, Flemish, Italian or German.

Why you should join Aramis Group:

- Pro and friendly team, working together in teamwork to tackle challenges (Plus, we regularly organize board games sessions)

- International environment (Cross-country community of practices, knowledge sharing…)

- Modern Data Stack, fully managed by the data team
