Qualifications

Blitz is a gaming platform launched by Voodoo in 2021, allowing players to compete on mobile games for real cash prizes (head-up, tournaments, leagues, etc.). It is leveraging Voodoo's unique game portfolio to engage users in a fun and rewarding way.

We are looking for a Data Analyst who will play a key role in collecting and analyzing data to guide strategic decisions, optimize the user experience, and improve the economic performance of Blitz, a real-money gaming platform.

Role

• Work on end-to-end data projects in collaboration, aiming to enhance our games and boost both monetization and player retention improvements.
• Gather needs from stakeholders, build data collection and transformation pipelines, train and deploy simple predictive models into production.
• Share progress with game analysts by building dashboards and providing them with actionable recommendations.
• Define KPIs and prioritize initiatives based on expected impact.
• Analyze large, complex data sets with billions of events representing the behavior of online and mobile game players to address strategic and operational business questions.
• Design solutions from scratch, iterate quickly, create POCs, and deploy to production rapidly.
• Build and manage robust data pipelines to align with ever-evolving business needs, ensuring optimal architecture support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on A/B testing, analyzing results, and improving testing frameworks to enhance product evaluation and inform strategic decisions.
• You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are able to balance the tradeoff between time-consuming development and rapid results.

Profile

• You possess substantial experience in analytical roles, ideally within a web or mobile company or the online gaming industry.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in data analysis, AB testing, and data-driven decision-making.
• You are highly skilled in SQL and have a proven track record of building production-ready pipelines that handle large and complex data sets.
• You have solid experience in ETL development.
• You have practical experience with Tableau and can create dashboards that are shared company-wide, facilitating data-driven decision-making across departments.
• You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are able to balance the tradeoff between time-consuming development and rapid results.
• A BA/B.Sc degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economy, or other quantitative fields is mandatory for this role.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical tools and models will be considered a significant advantage.
• English and French proficiency.
