Qualifications

The Multi-domain Solutions Division (MDS) within the Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a skilled Senior Cyber Security Architect to join a new cyber security program and play a key role in supporting government-critical systems. You will be part of a program that oversees development, integration, delivery, and operations and maintenance of IT managed security services, which encompasses support to monitor the cybersecurity threat and security posture situational awareness for the enterprise. This opportunity is in anticipation of a future contract award!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the design and implementation of robust security architectures across our enterprise systems.
  • Apply deep expertise in security frameworks, cloud security, risk assessment, and compliance, ensuring that our infrastructure, applications, and data are secure against evolving threats.
  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise-wide security architectures and frameworks.
  • Lead risk assessments and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Define security policies, standards, and best practices across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Provide guidance on security technologies, including firewalls, identity & access management (IAM), encryption, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native applications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Conduct security reviews of systems, applications, and third-party integrations.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing forensic analysis when needed.
  • Stay ahead of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to security teams and other stakeholders.

What does Leidos need from me?

  • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required. Must be U.S. Citizen.
  • Master's degree and 15 to 20 years of prior relevant experience in order to operate within the scope contemplated by the level. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Favorable if you have:

  • CompTIA Network+.
  • CISSP or other IAT III.
Pay Range:

Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
