Qualifications

Description du poste

You join the Corporate team in the Credit Risk Department as a Senior Credit Analyst. You play an active role in the implementation of credits, including acquisition finance and structured loans, as well as in annual reviews of counterparties. The geographical area covered extends across Europe and the Middle East, with the possibility of specialising in a specific sector.

On a daily basis, your tasks will be:

  • Perform the contradictory analysis of grant files, one-off applications and renewals of credit lines.
  • Engage constructively with the different business lines on the risk points and results of your analysis, affirming your position to make improvements to the applications from a credit risk perspective.
  • Interact with other departments and teams involved in decision-making, such as compliance, country risk, sector, ESR and legal teams to write informed, thorough and well-thought-out opinions.
  • Represent your views to a Risk Delegate or to the credit committees as a representative of the Risk Department for final decision making.
  • Proactively monitor the portfolio to anticipate any material deterioration in a counterparty’s credit risk, with Watch List entry if necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with decision-making processes, including granting and renewing credits, monitoring files on the Watch List and setting limits at BPCE level.

As an Analyst, you will also participate in cross-functional projects (risk policies, rating methodology / LGD, portfolio reviews, stress tests, improved monitoring of operations, audits and interactions with the BPCE group and regulator, etc.).

Required Skills / Qualifications / Experience

Higher education (Bac, type Master II, Grande Ecole in the fields of Finance) with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably with a delegation exercise.

You are familiar with:

  • The fundamentals of credit analysis, including the analysis of projections and structuring elements.
  • The essential elements of legal documentation of transactions.

You have strong relationship skills, very good listening skills, and you are:

  • Autonomous and organized;
  • Able to meet deadlines;
  • Possessing strong conviction and good communication skills in both written and oral forms.

You master English with a C1 level or equivalent.
