The Senior Control Software Engineer must have a strong background in software development and will be responsible for implementing customized solutions across the globe, adapted to various HID equipment.

The selected candidate will be part of the manufacturing engineering team, contributing to projects involving credential provisioning equipment, test apparatus, and antenna winding and bonding operations within front-end factories.

The Senior Control Software Engineer will lead activities in collaboration with HID worldwide teams or subcontractors.

As a Senior Control Software Engineer, you will support our success by:

• Designing, developing, and integrating robust, scalable architecture for the HMI platform using C#, ensuring high performance and maintainability.
• Leading UI design and continuous improvement to enhance user experience and aesthetics.
• Collaborating with program managers, operations, and technology teams to implement industrial software solutions and optimize system performance.
• Interfacing with real-time database applications (SQL Server) and PLC control systems for seamless integration and reliable data flow.
• Developing and integrating process tracking and monitoring systems (MES) to improve operational efficiency and provide real-time production insights.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex automated equipment issues on-site and remotely to minimize downtime.

Your Experience and Education include:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering.
• 5 to 10 years of hands-on development experience.
• Experience in HMI design, automation software, motion control, PLC communication, and real-time data acquisition.
• Knowledge of network communication protocols (TCP/IP, Serial, OPC UA).
• Experience with software installers and updates.
• Background in industrial software development and maintenance.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and database applications.
