About this job

We are looking to recruit a Senior Consultant with expertise in health policy or healthcare innovation to join our Health and Life Science Team, primarily working on European projects. The team delivers policy studies and evaluations related to biomedical research & innovation, healthy ageing, digital health, global health research, and health system strengthening or innovation in medicine development.
Based in our French office, you will work on projects for the European Commission and contribute to the sale and delivery of European studies and evaluations, including R&D programmes, socio-economic impact assessments, and health system strengthening initiatives, including in emerging countries. You will also work with French clients.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated strong project management, analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, with a commitment to quality and integrity. Business development experience is a plus. Knowledge of evaluation principles and methods is essential.

Your profile

We seek someone with at least 5 years’ relevant project management experience, in consulting or a similar role in the charity sector, government, or related agency.
Specifically, you should have:

• An academic background in health policy, health economics, public health, or similar (Masters level) or 4 years of relevant experience in the health sector
• Ability to propose, sell, lead, and manage policy studies and evaluations
• Proficiency in qualitative and/or quantitative evaluation methods
• Excellent writing skills in French and English
• Self-motivation, curiosity, and ability to work independently across disciplines
• Willingness to travel within Europe and internationally (Africa, Latin America)

Other desirable attributes include data interpretation, proficiency with analysis packages like STATA or NVivo, handling large health-related datasets, understanding theory-based or realist evaluation methods, prioritization skills, and excellent oral communication. Proficiency in both French and English is required.

Your responsibilities

Contribute to growing the Health and Life Sciences practice at Technopolis France. Support business development in European and French health markets, manage projects and teams, design and deliver high-quality policy evaluations, and contribute to report preparation and presentation. Support peers in project delivery.
