Mazars seeks a Senior Consultant in Special Situations Advisory to lead high-stakes finance and governance work from Paris-based offices, with frequent international deployment. You will guide C-level executives through complex restructurings, acquisitions, and crisis scenarios, leveraging deep accounting and financial reporting expertise.

You will support multi-entity engagements across borders, require strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and demonstrate an entrepreneurial, client-focused mindset

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree from a leading business or engineering school.
• At least three full annual cycles in external financial audit or advisory.
• Strong finance fundamentals and accounting standards knowledge (IFRS, US GAAP, French GAAP).
• Interest in operational and international assignments.
• Ability to work quickly in unfamiliar environments and crisis situations.
• Proactive mindset with strong synthesis and communication skills.
• Team player with client orientation and stakeholder navigation.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; data analytics a plus.
• English fluency; another language; French at least intermediate.

• Support C-level leadership in complex, time-sensitive situations.
• Provide operational diagnostics and governance analysis for subsidiaries.
• Reconstruct and remediate financial statements under time pressure.
• Establish reliable financial reporting and KPI structures across entities.
• Assist boards and senior management in crisis and profit-warning management.
• Provide interim finance leadership during critical gaps or post-merger integration.
• Assist with setting up and winding down structures in complex countries.
