Job summary

Arch Insurance International seeks an experienced Underwriter to develop and grow the Construction portfolio in France. You will underwrite new and renewal business, manage delegated underwriting relationships, and contribute to pricing models and risk monitoring.

Collaboration with actuarial and legal teams will be essential for policy clarity and compliance. The role requires a deep knowledge of construction insurance, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to work under

Qualifications

University degree preferred but not essential.
ACII designation preferred or currently pursued.

Responsibilities

Underwrite new and renewal business per guidelines and authority.
Manage Delegated Underwriting Authority relationships.
Contribute input to department underwriting guidelines.
Support pricing models and monitor portfolio rate adequacy.
Assist risk accumulation, aggregation and catastrophe exposure monitoring.
Assist training and development of Construction team members.
Support knowledge and product development in energy transition space.
Review and develop policy clauses and wordings.
Prepare underwriting data for management and brokers; manage broker relationships.
Stay updated on industry topics and regulatory changes affecting the line of business.
