Allianz Commercial is seeking a Senior Underwriter Construction based in Paris la Défense. You will underwrite profitable new and renewal business, negotiate terms with brokers, and manage key accounts while collaborating with global construction teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, finance, insurance, risk management, economics or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of proven underwriting experience in engineering lines and construction.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite new business and renewal accounts to meet targets within underwriting guidelines.
• Negotiate terms, pricing and conditions with brokers; manage regional portfolio capacity.
• Understand Nat Cat scenarios and catastrophe modeling for risk evaluation.
• Ensure contract certainty and use of pricing tools.
• Contribute to regional underwriting strategy and build broker/client relationships.
• Support learning of junior team members and assist with policy administration.
