Jacobs is seeking a Civil/Mechanical Construction Inspector to provide QA support for wastewater treatment plant and pipeline projects. You will inspect contractor work to verify compliance with plans, specs, codes, and safety standards; and prepare a variety of reports and documentation.

Responsibilities include maintaining inspection records, assisting with safety analyses, reviewing as-built drawings, and coordinating with owners, regulators, and the public to minimize project impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction and/or construction inspection experience.
• Experience with water/wastewater treatment facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work night/graveyard shifts and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Inspect contractor work on plant and pipeline facilities to verify contractual compliance with plans, specifications, codes and safety standards.
• Assist safety representatives with hazard analysis and observe safety practices on site.
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings and assist with change orders and record drawings.
• Prepare and maintain inspection records and progress reports for project management.
• Attend construction meetings and coordinate with contractors, regulators, utilities, city officials and the public to minimize project impact.
